We are delighted to be featuring Abimaro, as our special guest artist.
Islington Community Choir are a non auditioned community group who pride themselves on being multi-generational and accepting of all the diversity and vibrancy London has to offer. Led by Ryan O’Riordan, the group juggle a mix of infectious ear worms right up to large complex pieces in a variety of languages and traditions.
Filament Choir is the community wing of Filament Theatre Company. It was formed to uniquely bring together professional and community singers in a welcoming and fun musical environment promoting movement, improvisation and singing inspired by a range of material and Filament Theatre's own work. The choir is led by Filament’s composer and musical director ,Osnat Schmool.
Abimaro is a London-based singer-songwriter with an eclectic sonic palette that is hard to box in. From the delicacy of “Folding” to the vibrancy of “Parasols”, her breadth of ability has led her to being handpicked for many collaborations including with Zero 7 and The Cinematic Orchestra.
